i have been trying to give away my spare time to some sort of volunteer opportunity for several months, but no one would get back to me. until today! i'm going to be volunteering at the library of congress one saturday a month! i get trained february 3rd! this is awesome for several reasons:

1. i want to be a librarian!
2. i want to work at the library of congress (or a similar institution)!
3. i will get to meet other library people!
4. i will get to hang out at the library of congress!
5. this potentially leaves me open to volunteer somewhere else at other times!
6. library school will love this!
7. i will love this! hopefully!
8. this is so legit!
   

anyway, i'm excited!
