here are some things:

1. i got into grad school and registered for classes today! (like just now!) (see #13)
2. i'm leaving for guatemala this weekend, so i just started packing. but stopped to register for classes and write this blog post.
3. artomatic opened last weekend! i went friday and it was awesome! (see #9)
   
4. i've read some books!
5. friends are moving to dc! i'm overwhelmingly excited! their house is great/beautiful/exciting! (see #14)
   
6. this is what guatemala looked like in 2006.
7. we had a house trip to subway the other night and it was delicious and heartwarming!
8. hey it's summer!
9. alec is playing at artomatic tomorrow! (8:00! everyone should go!)
10. i went to the pool on sunday!
11. i had dinner with my dad tonight.
12. in addition to brushing kids' teeth, i was put in charge of keeping the journal for the guatemala trip and being sure everyone writes in it. i think i'll be good at this.
13. i'll be taking "libraries and information in society" and "information sources and services" in the fall! (see #1)
    
14. i am happy and summer is here and life is beautiful and new friends are arriving and everything is brimming with possibility! (see all previous #s)
