at work, all i did was fill out tax forms, read some things (i'm not sure what they were), and hear about updating the calendar so that people know what i'm up to all the time. i'm pretty pumped about this calendar for everyone to see. it's sort of like a gmail status except, because i'm required to do it, i don't have to feel like i'm just talking about myself because i'm a megalomaniac (re: this blog). each of the three women who own/are important at the company are taking turns taking me out to lunch. today melissa and i went to a yummy italian place. i learned two important things about melissa: she's a dj and she plays scandinavian pop music. she's one to keep an eye on, i think.
i have my own desk and tomorrow i'll have my own computer. i share an office with a young man who calls me roommate.
laura and i went to dinner and happy hour after work because i'm pretty sure that's what you do as an adult. but then we were too tired to stay any longer than it took to eat. i guess that's what being an adult is like, too.
i'm sleeping on dad's fold-out couch (pictured below):
and here is all the food my dad has (+ milk and a frozen lean cuisine):
i'm ready for bed.
